Well, as long as you admit you SOUND like quite the musician, I mean, considering music pretty much IS sound.

Haha, seriously, but I know what you mean. It's better to be a master of one instrument, rather than none. Some might say it's better focus just to stick with that one you excel with. Who knows.

I introduced my friend to Finale Notepad. I think I got him addicted. He used to play viola. I actually wonder sometimes if I spend more time designing a composition than just playing guitar for its pure sake. But it's what I really love to do, so I make no objections.

Glad I could help! I do my best for those who need it. Plus, I could relate. Best of luck to you for the interview! I hope it goes well.

I only SOUND like quite the musician, ha ha. I'm really only professional when it comes to the flute. I agree with you, music is art. And art, actually, in my opinion, is music. That's okay though. I keep myself entertained with Finale Notepad.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it! I have a resume and such, and a college interview on Wednesday! I'm looking forward to living my life.

I wish deviantArt would allow people to upload music, it would make things so much easier for me. It's just as much art as anything else, I think.

Hey, Joannie here. I thought I'd connect with those in the art world. I heard about this site from a high school friend of mine. Just a little about me: I am a single musician (I am a flautist, violinist, vocalist, and pianist) who will be going to college next spring. I'm unemployed as of now, but I'll soon change that! I volunteer at a hospital for nuns, and participate in a community orchestra. Art is one of my hobbies, and I hope to post some work up soon. I also love to write! My pictures often inspire stories.
